Don Stoner — Head Instructor & Owner

Don Stoner is the founder, owner, and Head Instructor of Lone Wolf BJJ Academy in Washougal, WA. He holds a 2nd-degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Rigan Machado and Fabiano Scherner, and brings more than 30 years of martial arts experience to every class he teaches.

Don's competition résumé speaks for itself: a Bronze medal at the 2011 IBJJF Worlds Brown Belt No-Gi division, seven-time Submission Underground Champion (aired on UFC Fight Pass), and five-time NAGA Expert Division Champion. He continues to compete in IBJJF, NAGA, and Grappling Industries events. In MMA, Don holds a 7-2 professional record.

Beyond competition, Don founded the Apex Teen Project in 2022 — an anti-bullying initiative rooted in the same discipline and confidence-building principles he teaches on the mats every day. Don lives in Washougal with his wife, Andrea.
